Marcus Coombs officially etched his name into the school’s record books Wednesday night.
His game-high 22 points put him over 1,500 career points and made him the program’s all-time career leading scorer in No. 2 Snake River’s 48-45 road win against No. 4 American Falls (13-5, 1-2 4A South East Idaho Conference).
The multiple-time all-state now has 1,518 career points to his name. He also notched seven boards, three assists and a couple steals.
Dawson Jackman added 11 points and six assists for the Panthers in the league win.

Garrett Grayson flirted with a double-double with 12 points and eight rebounds, as the Royals (9-6, 4-6 1A Rocky Mountain Conference) held on for a league win Thursday night on the road.

Ryver Hayden had 11 points, as the Cowboys (6-12, 2-8 1A Rocky Mountain Conference) ended their regular season with a sixth loss in the last seven games Thursday night at home.

Jake Schumann netted 20 points, as the No. 1 Indians (19-1, 4-0 5A South East Idaho Conference) continued to roll on with yet another victory Wednesday night at home in league play.
Reggie Larsen and Cruz Harris weren’t too far behind him with 18 and 17 points, respectively, for Preston in what was its 11th consecutive win.
Hunter Cordell had a game-high 24 points for the Thunder (10-8, 1-2) in the loss.
SHELLEY 60, BLACKFOOT 54
Austin Arave poured in 28 points, grabbed nine rebounds, dished out three assists and had three steals, but it still wasn’t in the Broncos’ (9-8, 6-3 5A High Country Conference) loss at home Wednesday night in league play.
Kasen Sorensen also had a good game with 17 points and seven boards for Blackfoot in the loss
WEST SIDE 75, MALAD 54
Crew Sage racked up 23 points, as the second-ranked Pirates (13-5, 4-3 3A South East Idaho Conference) eased to a league win Wednesday night at home.
Jaden Fuller added 17 points and McKay Peterson 11 for West Side in the win.
MARSH VALLEY 59, BEAR LAKE 32
Kaden Hansen notched 18 points, as the Eagles (8-9, 2-1 4A South East Idaho Conference) cruised in league play at home Wednesday night.
Tate Whitworth and Eli Hadley chipped in with 15 and 11 points, respectively, for Marsh Valley in the win.
Kaden Anderson had 11 points for the Bears (3-13, 0-3) in the loss.

Preston Ozborn sank a 3-pointer at the buzzer, as the Cardinals (10-9, 4-3 3A South East Idaho Conference) upset the No. 5 team in the state Wednesday night at home.
Konner McWilliams led the way with 11 points. Cooper Thompson and Dakoda Billman were right behind with 10 points each for Soda Springs in the win.

Mitchell Elliott had 15 points and Luke Shackelford 10, but it wasn’t nearly enough for the Tigers (3-16, 1-6 3A South East Idaho Conference) who suffered their sixth straight loss Wednesday night at home in league play.

Rusty Hatch scored 18 points and Ryver Hayden 10 for the Cowboys in a nonconference loss on the road Monday night.

Brynlee Jones led three different players in double figures with 18 points, as the top-ranked Dragons (21-1) punched their ticket to the Class 3A District V Tournament title game and state for the first time in seven years Thursday night at home.
Izzy Haycock (11 points) and Paityn Ward (10) were the other two for Malad, which has now won 21 games in a row.
Miley Cundick had eight points and eight rebounds for the Pirates (7-16) in the loss. Harley Nielsen added 10 boards for them, too.
HIGHLAND 56, CANYON RIDGE 31
Daisy Agado posted 13 points and four rebounds, as the Rams (10-13) staved off elimination by snapping a five-game losing streak Thursday night at home during the Class 6A District IV-V-VI Tournament.
Devree Bell added 11 points, five boards and a pair of steals in the win for Highland.
BLACKFOOT 52, HILLCREST 49
The fourth-ranked Broncos (17-5) needed all of Addison Tanner’s game-high 20 points to advance to the Class 5A District VI championship game Thursday night at home.

Eden Jensen almost single-handedly kept the Beavers’ (12-10) season alive with a game-high 21 points in a Class 4A District V Tournament elimination game Thursday night at home.
No one else on the team had more than nine points.
Marlee Palmer had eight points for the Panthers, who finished the year winless at 0-23. They just won a state championship last season.

Gracie Moldenhauer put up 15 points, eight steals and seven rebounds, as the Cardinals (11-10) advanced to the 3A District V championship Thursday night at home.
Abby Goodin added 12 points and five rebounds for Soda Springs in the win.

Kallie Stoddard and Presleigh Steadman had eight points, apiece, as the Grizzlies’ (11-12) season is now on the ropes after a Class 2A District V-VI Tournament loss Thursday night at Thunder Ridge High School.

Halle Wells piled up 21 points, as the Bears cruised in their Class 4A District V Tournament opener Tuesday night at home.
Sophia Kelley and Ellie Adams had nine points each for the Panthers in the loss.
ROCKLAND 51, NORTH GEM 18
The No. 2 Bulldogs (16-5) were so dominant in their Class 1A District V-VI Tournament opener that Sidney Freeman and Alexa Permann nearly had more rebounds (16) between them than their opponent did points Tuesday night at home.
They also combined for 25 points with Freeman just leading the way with 13 and seven boards. Permann was right behind with a near double-double of 12 points and nine boards in the win.
Calyn Permann also had a good game with eight points, six rebounds, four assists and three steals for Rockland.

Callie Yost notched 13 points, as the Grizzlies had 11 different scorers in a Class 2A District V-VI Tournament opening round win Tuesday night at Thunder Ridge High School.
Evie Olenslager and Tessica Jorgensen also reached double figures for Grace with 11 and 10 points, respectively, in the win.
