     POCATELLO — Tickets are still available for tonight’s Overachievers Under 40 Awards event.

    The awards will be handed out at the special recognition event starting at 6 p.m. at the Stephens Performing Arts Center on the Idaho State University campus.

    Tickets are $40 each and are available at the door or via the website OverUnder40.com. The price includes live music, food and beverages, and an awards presentation that promises to entertain.

    The long list of nominees for the awards includes the follow individuals:

    “No one should pass up the opportunity to show their support for this outstanding lineup of nominees,” Idaho State Journal Publisher Andy Pennington said. “The under 40 demographic is often overlooked for the contribution of its members to our community. We created this awards event to give credit to our young adults who are often the unsung heroes of Southeast Idaho.”

    The Overachievers Under 40 Awards are being sponsored by the Idaho State Journal and Southeast Idaho Business Journal, the ISJ’s business publication, with help from the event’s main partner, Idaho Power.

    Other partners critical to the success of the Overachievers Under 40 Awards are the Portneuf Medical Center, Gate City Real Estate and ISU Credit Union.

    The Overachievers Under 40 Awards event is the first of several annual awards events to be launched by the Idaho State Journal, Southeast Idaho Business Journal and their partners.
