POCATELLO — Friends and co-workers of longtime city of Pocatello employee Cindy Campbell will be hosting a retirement luncheon for her on May 29 at noon.

Campbell has worked for the city of Pocatello for a total of 32 years now, according to a news release. She worked at the water superintendent office as an engineering technician, as well as for the public works and utility billing departments. Her main responsibilities over the years included mapping and maintaining records for the city’s water infrastructure, subdivision inspections and pressure tests, besides the chlorination of water lines.
The woman also served as the water conservation advisor for a number of years and was responsible for the ongoing education at local school settings. She also served on city committees such as the planning and development protocol committee, the pay plan committee, the newsletter committee, the employee rec council and the community environmental fair committee.
