POCATELLO — Bannock County Historical Society Museum’s annual open house is scheduled to run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 9 at the museum, 3000 Ave. of the Chiefs in Pocatello.

Among the day’s events will be live music; Kyle Bascom will be singing and playing holiday music on the parlor organ throughout the day.

Arlen Walker will be presenting three nostalgic holiday readings with slides at 12:30 p.m. The readings are “The Little Match Girl,” “A Child’s Christmas in Wales” and “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas.”

Attendees can also view a live in-gallery screening of the museum’s digitized archive photos. Digitization funding was provided by BCHS, Idaho Community Foundation, Idaho State Historical Records Advisory Board, and the National Historical Publications and Records Commission.

Additionally, there are new and updated exhibits.

Throughout the day, there will be finger foods and refreshments.

Admission to the open house is free.
