A perfect 3-0 start to the 2019 season helped the College of Idaho jump four spots to No. 11 in the first regular-season NAIA football coaches poll of the year, released Monday by the American Football Coaches Association and the NAIA.

It marks the highest ranking in program history and the fifth-straight polling period in which the team has been in the top 25.

The Yotes opened the season with a 48-12 home win against Eastern Oregon, then won 28-14 at Montana Tech and edged Southern Oregon 41-38 at home Saturday.

Up next, the C of I travels to play Rocky Mountain on Saturday.
