IDAHO FALLS — A suspicious package found in a U.S. Postal Service mailbox at Park Avenue and A Street on Wednesday afternoon in Idaho Falls was determined not to be a bomb, according to Joelyn Hansen, spokeswoman for the I.F. Police Department.
The package, which initially seemed suspicious, was only a postal mailing box with a disposable camera duct taped to the outside of it.
The package was tracked to a mentally disabled man who misunderstood mailing regulations, according to investigators. Authorities do not believe there was any criminal intent.
