Two students and one teacher's aide received medical treatment after being attacked by a young pit bull in Blackfoot Thursday, says School District 55 Superintendent Scott Crane.

One boy received a deep bite wound to the leg and another received a puncture wound to the leg. The teacher's aide received stitches for bite marks on his arm. Five other students were injured, but not seriously.

Animal control was called to the scene and the dog was apprehended. Blackfoot Police are searching for the owner of the dog.
