Rollene to be sentenced in February
POCATELLO — A Blackfoot man pleaded guilty Monday to two counts of felony video voyeurism.
Jason Lee Rollene was charged with three counts in all in July after a month-long investigation that was initiated after a female employee found an iPhone in a tissue box in the employee restroom that was recording video where Rollene worked.
According to court documents, investigators were ultimately able to pull three suspicious videos from the phone and on the basis of those videos, Rollene was charged.
As part of a plea agreement, Rollene pleaded guilty Monday to two counts and prosecutors dismissed the third. They also agreed to recommend probation at sentencing and would not object to a withheld judgment.
Sixth District Judge Robert Naftz, as part of the preparation done for sentencing, ordered a psychosexual evaluation for Rollene in addition to the standard presentence investigation report.
Rollene’s sentencing is scheduled for Feb. 11.
