Mersene Zohos died here Thursday at the age of 111.

    POCATELLO — Only 9 days away from her 112th birthday, Mersene Zohos passed away in Pocatello.

    Pocatello EMS crews were called to Zohos’ home Thursday afternoon, where Zohos was found deceased.

    Bannock County Coroner Kim Quick said that it was natural causes that led to the passing of the oldest woman in Idaho.
