now this place several deaths have occured over the years. The people that went there a few years ago shouldn't have been in there at that time of year. The water was very high. There were no explanatory signs. What if the counties offered us old people jobs overseeing these dangerous spots? like they do campground managers?

why do they let this place stay available to swimmers? We had a great swimming hole near Springfield, Idaho clean clear water but people dumped trash, dirty diapers, tampons, beer bottles and cans. people were drunk and disorderly. For years alot of Mothers went there and cleaned while their kids swam but eventually we got old and stopped going the Railroad was tired of all the drinking and fighting and dynamited the swimming hole. It is still there but acess is extremely limited. Then Up in East Fork of Rock Creek in Rockland was the best clean water and safe for little kids to play in the water and fish. Of course people had to bring bigger and bigger ATV's and UTV's and motorcycles and 4 wheel drives. They made ruts and mud holes so regular cars had a hard time getting in and out. People put beer bottles everywhere and beer cans and garbage everywhere and pooped in the creek! It wasn't safe anymore so they moved rocks and closed that fun place down. Folks can still walk in and fish but I am old and on oxygen so I can't even go to my favorite spot anymore.
