Former Idaho State star defensive lineman and current Green Bay Packer Tyler Kuder looks to get his first taste of live NFL action as the Packers take on the Indianapolis Colts in the annual Hall of Fame Game on Sunday at Fawcett Stadium in Canton, Ohio.

Kuder, a Payette native, was picked up by the Packers as an undrafted free agent, was signed to a three-year contract and has participated in the Packers’ training camp since it began July 28.

Kuder is one of eight defensive linemen currently on Green Bay’s roster, but only three of those linemen — Letroy Guion, Mike Daniels and Mike Pennel — have played in an NFL regular-season game. Kuder is one of four rookie linemen for the Packers, which includes fourth-round pick Dean Lowry of Northwestern University.

The Packers will need to trim their 88-man training camp roster to 75 midway through the preseason and to 53 before the regular season begins.

Kuder was a first-team all-Big Sky selection his senior year in 2015. He had 92 tackles, 11 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks.
