Idaho State Director of Athletics Jeff Tingey has announced that Interim Head Coach Deane Martin will not be retained and that a press conference will be held Thursday to announce the new men's basketball coach. The time and location of the press conference will be announced on Wednesday.

“I greatly appreciate all that coach Martin has done for our men’s basketball program this year,” Idaho State Director of Athletics Jeff Tingey said. “He took over the team in a difficult time and helped our program qualify for the conference tournament."

This will be Tingey's only comment on the coaching search until Thursday's press conference.
