POCATELLO — Chapter 3 of the Disabled American Veterans Organization has had one of its vans stolen.
The van is 2006 Ford E350, White in color with an American Flag and the letters DAV on the side.
The DAV utilizes these vans to provide transportation to disabled veterans from Pocatello to the Veterans Hospital in Salt Lake City and back.
“We were attempting to sell the 2006 so that we can purchase a new van,” DAV Chapter 3 Treasurer Lynn Payne said.
The van was last seen Friday afternoon parked outside the Vet Center across the street from CAL Ranch Store in Pocatello, and the only two keys to the vehicle are with the local DAV Commander Steve Diviesti, and Payne.
Pocatello Police are looking into the matter.
