Chubbuck firefighters extinguished a car fire on Pocatello Creek Road in Bannock County on Wednesday evening.
 
A Journal photographer who was at the scene said the fire did not destroy the vehicle but caused damage to the engine area. No one suffered any injuries.
 
Initial reports were that the fire was threatening structures but no structures were damaged.
 
The incident was reported around 6:40 p.m. Wednesday.
 
It's unclear what caused the car to catch on fire.
