Labrador

BOISE, Idaho (AP) — US Rep. Raul Labrador has secured a victory in Idaho's 1st Congressional District against Democratic challenger Shirley Ringo.

This will be Labrador's third term in office. While he unsuccessfully made an attempt to win the House Majority Leader back in May, Labrador has held onto his reputation as being a tea party favorite not only in Idaho but across the country.

Ringo is a longtime Democratic state representative who has served in the Idaho House since 1999.

Idaho's 2nd congressional district includes the northern half of the state and snakes down to the western part of the Treasure Valley, including parts of Boise.
