Idaho State guard Estefania Ors has been honored for the second consecutive week as the Big Sky Women’s Basketball Player of the Week for her performance against Weber State over the weekend.
Ors’ hot streak continued on the court as the Bengals defeated the Wildcats 67-66. In the only contest for the Bengals this week, Ors had a 27 point performance and went 11-of-15 from the field for an impressive 73 percent shooting percentage.
The Altura, Spain native also shot 43 percent from three-point range. Ors grabbed four rebounds in the victory and had three steals, two assists, and a blocked shot.
With the solid victory, the Bengals have now moved into second place in the conference standings and are riding a six game winning streak, including their three previous conference matchups.
Ors is the second player this season to be named player of the week twice and the first to be named to the honor in back-to-back weeks.
