Paige Vorwaller (Marsh Valley) – Treasure Valley Community College

Marsh Valley High School graduate Paige Vorwaller has recorded a double-double in three of the last four games for the Treasure Valley women’s basketball team.

The sophomore forward tallied 23 points on 8-of-14 shooting and added 10 rebounds in her latest game Saturday, which ended as an 80-73 home loss to Big Bend.

Vorwaller is the team leader in points (13.6) and rebounds (9.6) per game, plus she has a 46.3 shooting percentage.

Treasure Valley (10-9, 2-4 Northwest Athletic Conference-East) plays Wednesday at Columbia Basin.

Connor Harding (Highland) – Brigham Young University

Highland High School graduate Connor Harding has continued to be a scoring threat in his first season with the BYU men’s basketball team.

The freshman has scored at least five points in 13 of his last 14 games. He is shooting 49 percent from the floor, 34 percent from the 3-point line and 70.7 percent from the free-throw line this season.

His season high in points is 14 on 5-of-6 shooting in a 95-80 home win over Utah State on Dec. 5.

BYU (12-9, 4-2 West Coast Conference) hosts St. Mary’s on Thursday.

Sarah Holt (Century) – Colorado Christian University

Century High School graduate Sarah Holt recently had her best shooting performance of the season for the Colorado Christian women’s basketball team.

The senior guard scored a season-high 13 points on 4-of-6 shooting, plus she added two assists in 19 minutes of a 78-61 home win over Dixie State on Friday.

Holt is averaging 1.8 points and 1.4 rebounds per game.

Colorado Christian (8-9, 6-5 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference) hosts Adams State on Friday.
