Jarod Greene (Blackfoot) – North Idaho College

Blackfoot High School graduate Jarod Greene had the best shooting percentage in the Northwest Athletic Conference in the 2018-19 season for the North Idaho College men’s basketball team.

The sophomore forward made 133 of 192 shots for a conference-high 69.3 field-goal percentage. He also averaged 8.9 points and 5.3 rebounds per game this season.

His top scoring performance came in a 137-69 win at Blue Mountain on Jan. 19, when he tallied a season-high 20 points on 10-of-11 shooting.

North Idaho finished the season 31-2 and placed first in the NWAC East standings.

Hadlie Henderson (Blackfoot) – College of Southern Idaho

Blackfoot High School graduate Hadlie Henderson was named Scenic West Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week for the second time this season for her performances in the first week of April.

The College of Southern of Idaho softball player finished that week 4-0 in the circle. The pitcher allowed one run and 12 hits with four strikeouts in 17 1/3 innings. She held batters to a .197 batting average.

College of Southern Idaho (27-17, 18-10 Scenic West Athletic Conference) plays Friday-Saturday at Snow College.

Connor Breding (Pocatello) – College of Southern Idaho

Pocatello High School graduate Connor Breding has been asked to do a lot in his sophomore season with the College of Southern Idaho baseball team.

Breding has pitched 50 1/3 innings, second-most on the team. His 38 strikeouts rank third on CSI and his 3.04 ERA is fourth.

Breding closed March with one of his best performances of the season, allowing no runs and one hit in 5 2/3 innings of a 4-1 home loss against Utah State Eastern. He also had five strikeouts and four walks.

College of Southern Idaho (23-19, 10-13 Scenic West Athletic Conference) hosts the Utah State club baseball team on Friday-Saturday.
