I am as unhappy as most about the massive jump in property taxes, everyone is wondering how these values were calculated. Was it some new complex statistical model or a blanket multiplier? Did the assessor drive the neighborhoods and back roads of our county and apply years of real estate acumen?
I think I may have stumbled onto the formula for the secret sauce: Zillow.com.
It couldn't be that easy, the assessor couldn't be that lazy.
