POCATELLO — Pocatello police arrested two people while investigating a report of drug-related activity on Saturday.

They say they responded to a motel on the 1400 block of South Fifth Avenue after someone reported possible drug activity taking place in one of the rooms. That person pointed out the room and a vehicle he or she believed was involved, police said.

They ended up taking two people into custody in connection to the incident. They arrested William Langi, 36, of Blackfoot, for possession of a controlled substance, heroin, and resisting and obstructing officers. They also arrested Jacob P. Smith, 31, of Idaho Falls, for unlawful possession of a firearm.
