POCATELLO — Authorities arrested two people following a traffic stop on Sunday.

The incident began when officers stopped Pocatello resident Teila M. Reyes, 23, for a traffic violation in the area of McKinley and Maple.

Pocatello police say they took both Reyes and her passenger, Blackfoot resident Brian L. Means, 21, into custody after learning they were wanted on warrants.

Police say they also found methamphetamine during the incident.

Reyes and Means were subsequently charged with felonies for possession of a controlled substance, according to Bannock County Magistrate Court records. In addition, Reyes was charged with a misdemeanor for providing false information about her or another’s identity and infractions for failing to provide proof of insurance and operating a vehicle with an Idaho suspension/revocation on a valid out-of-state license.

As of Monday afternoon, both Reyes and Means were still being held at the Bannock County Jail.
