The mystery regarding the whereabouts of a missing 36-year-old Preston area man has been resolved but another mystery remains.
Dustin “Dusty” Wheeler's body was found on Monday in northern Utah's Cache County by Cache County sheriff's deputies, according to the Franklin County Sheriff's Office. The Cache County deputies had found Wheeler's 2003 silver Ford Taurus earlier on Monday in another Cache County location.
The mystery that remains is Wheeler's cause of death.
The Cache County Sheriff's Office is investigating Wheeler's death but has not yet commented on how he died or exactly where in the county his body was found.
Wheeler was last seen when he clocked out at his workplace in Logan, Utah, last Wednesday afternoon. Logan is in Cache County.
Wheeler resided in the Preston area of Franklin County in Southeast Idaho, and the Franklin County Sheriff's Office issued a press release Saturday afternoon asking for the public's help in locating him.
Authorities did confirm that Wheeler's car was found in Logan Canyon in Cache County but no further details about the case have yet been released.
