TWIN FALLS — Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing mother and her infant son.
Thirty-year-old Maria Jose Canales Briceno and her son Thomas Michael Stevens, age 8 months, were last seen on Aug. 22 when they left their Twin Falls home, police said.
They have not been seen or heard from since.
Authorities are concerned about the whereabouts of Briceno and her son because she has no phone or money, does not have a driver's license or access to a vehicle, and has no known associates in the area besides family members.
Briceno, who's originally from Costa Rica, is described as being 4 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 140 pounds.
She has brown eyes, curly waist-length black hair and was last seen wearing blue jeans.
Her son Thomas has brown hair and bluish gray eyes. He’s 2 feet 3 inches tall, weighs 18 pounds and has a scar on the left side of his back.
He was last seen wearing a blue top with snaps.
