Police in Maryland are asking for the public’s help in their search for a Pocatello man and his infant son who are believed to be in that state.
Chase Rogers, 25, left his Pocatello home with his 5-month-old son Lucious Rogers on Aug. 1 “without communicating his plans to the mother of the child,” according to the Montgomery County, Maryland, Police Department.
Chase is now being sought by detectives with the Montgomery County Police Department’s Special Victims Investigations Division who want to check on his welfare and the welfare of Lucious, authorities said.
Police said that it has been confirmed that Chase and Lucious were at a family member’s house in Montgomery County, Maryland, on Wednesday but their current whereabouts are unknown.
Chase is described as being 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 190 pounds with hazel eyes and blond hair. Lucious has auburn hair.
Chase could be driving a purple 2008 Saturn Outlook with Idaho license plate number 1BBG694, authorities said.
