FORT HALL — The family of a Fort Hall man who’s been missing for several months believes he has fallen victim to foul play.
Austin Forrest Pevo, 23, was last seen on Feb. 3 at a residence in the area of Hawthorne and Cemetery roads on the Fort Hall Indian Reservation. He apparently left that residence on foot has not been seen or heard from since.
His family said it’s highly unusual for Pevo to be out of contact for this long and they believe he is the victim of foul play.
Pevo was reported missing by his family to the Fort Hall and Pocatello police departments, and both confirmed on Thursday that they’re still investigating his disappearance.
Pevo is 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs 180 to 185 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. He has his last name tattooed on his right arm and scars on his left arm and on his right cheek below his right eye.
Pevo was last seen wearing black jeans, a black jacket and brown shoes. He has been known to sometimes wear glasses.
If you have any information on Pevo’s whereabouts, contact Pocatello police at 208-234-6100 or Fort Hall police at 208-478-4000.
