Authorities said a 4-year-old girl who was reportedly abducted out of Bannock County was found safe early Monday, shortly after they issued an Amber Alert.
The Amber Alert was released at about 5:50 a.m. reporting that Karsyn Avery Skinner had gone missing and was last seen at a home on Thaine Road in Pocatello.
Police canceled the Amber Alert at 6:30 a.m. Police were seeking a maroon 1995 Ford Countour with Idaho plates in connection with the missing child, according to the Amber Alert. Police suspected the child may have been with a 38-year-old woman or a 31-year-old man.
Though the child is safe, Bannock County Sheriff Lorin Nielsen said investigation into the matter continues.
"We have involved Health and Welfare and Child Protective Services," Nielsen said.
