Thunderstorms hitting East Idaho stock image

At 9:59 PM Tuesday, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorm outflow winds extending from near Rockland to 15 miles south of Fort Hall Bannock Creek Lodge to near Lava Hot Springs, moving northeast at 35 mph.

Brief moderate rain and strong wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph are possible with these storms as they sweep northeast to Fort Hall and Henry by 11:00 PM Tuesday.

Locations impacted include Pocatello, Blackfoot, American Falls, McCammon, Lava Hot Springs, Blackfoot Reservoir, American Falls Reservoir, Neeley, Chesterfield Reservoir, Chubbuck, Aberdeen, Inkom, Downey, Arimo, Rockland, Fort Hall Bannock Creek Lodge, Pingree, Henry, Pocatello Airport and Fort Hall Putnam Lodge.
