The Gate City Grays hosted their annual open practice/tryouts Saturday at Halliwell Park. There were many familiar faces with KC Qualls and Preston Wells among the returning players. There were also many new faces from all over the state of Idaho and surrounding area.
“It was good to be back out on the field,” Grays head coach Trent Seamons said. “I’m happy to see some familiar faces and I am looking forward to a summer of some great baseball.”
“I’m impressed with the talent that turned out for tryouts,” Grays co-owner Erica Fredrickson said. “As always, we are looking forward to a fun season and helping players to continue to achieve their baseball goals. I also look forward to seeing familiar faces in the stands. After five years, our fans feel like they’re family now.”
