Join the Idaho State Journal along with Downard Funeral Home for A Night of Lights Water Lantern Festival. An incredible experience where you, your friends, and your family will create a magical memory of life. It can be a very emotional experience, writing down some of your hope and dreams, or a letter to a loved one, and then sending it out into the water. What could be better than sharing good food, music, and real connections with others at A Night of Lights Water Lantern Festival? The night will be filled with fun, happiness, hope, and great memories that you'll cherish for a lifetime. Friends, families, neighbors, and lots of people that you haven't met can come together to create a peaceful, memorable experience. Take in the beautiful sight and enjoy the warm glow of hundreds of lanterns as you relax and connect with those around you. Come Light the Water!

What are my parking options?
Parking lots are open all day. Due to fire ordinances, there can be no open flame cooking in the parking lots. This will be strictly enforced. The local container ordinances forbid the consumption of alcoholic beverages while on the grounds of the Bannock County Portneuf Wellness Complex parking lots.
What can I bring into the event?
Blankets and chairs. Please, dress warm, wear layers.

What's the refund policy?
No refunds at anytime.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket?
You can bring a printed ticket or use your email for a quick check in! You will receive your water lantern kit at check in
Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
Yes. Bring whoever you like. Remember, each ticket can only be scanned once.
