POCATELLO — BRIDGES and the Idaho State University Political Science Club invite all of Pocatello and the surrounding communities to experience and commemorate World Refugee Day 2019 on June 20 at 5 p.m. in the Pond Student Union Salmon River Suite.

There will be a screening of “God Grew Tired of Us,” a documentary about the “Lost Boys of Sudan,” a group of 25,000 young men who have fled the wars in Sudan since the 1980s and their experiences as they relocate to the United States.

The screening will be followed by discussion and questions led by Zeze Rwasama, Director of the CSI Refugee Center, Mona Heern, Pocatello educator and Mary Lupumba, ISU student.

The event is free to the public. Pizza and beverages will be provided.
