POCATELLO — The Pocatello Unitarian Universalist Fellowship warmly invites everyone to the annual Ingathering Service, Sunday, Sept. 15, at 4 p.m.

This lovely tradition, also called Water Ceremony, includes a ritual of gathering the waters in a common bowl. We bring a small amount of water, symbolizing meaningful moments in our lives. As the waters mingle, we are reminded of how we are one in this journey. We may not know all the details of each other’s lives, but we all understand hopes and fears, sorrows and joys. Come, let’s worship together!

Rev. Jenny Peek will lead the service. Dr. David Parry will provide music.

A potluck style fellowship meal will follow the service. PUUF gatherings are held in the church building behind Pocatello High School, 309 N. Garfield Ave., every Sunday at 4 p.m., with traditional worship on 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays, and Religious Enrichment (RE) discussions on 2nd and 4th Sundays.
