POCATELLO — The monthly meeting of the Parkinson’s Disease Support Group for September will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Monte Vista Hills Healthcare Center 1071 Renee.

We will be planning activities to improve our exercise opportunities and discussion on community programs available for our members. We will discuss and set goals for the organization. We will also plan future activities and social gatherings.

On Tuesday will be our weekly Move and Shout exercise class at Monte Vista Hills, which is scheduled to start at 5 p.m. This class features movement with yoga-type exercise along with voice exercise.

The weekly therapeutic dance class on Thursday will not be held on the Sept. 12 but it continues the following week on Sept. 19 at starting at 4 p.m.

A social activity is planned for Sept. 28 at the picnic shelter in Chubbuck’s Cotant Park. We will have a potluck luncheon followed by bike riding, walking or other group activities.
