POCATELLO — It's a free movie night along with the Pocatello Film Society's semi-annual Trailer Party and Potluck on Dec. 8 at the Bengal Theater in the Idaho State University Pond Student Union, with Heartland Film Festival winner, "The Man Who Invented Christmas" showing at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.

The potluck and trailer party is in between shows at 5:45 p.m. In this holiday tale, Charles Dickens has writer's block and is under a deadline as he frantically tries to develop the classic story, "A Christmas Carol." (Rated PG) During the trailer party, attendees can view trailers of potential upcoming films and help choose what the Film Society will show next semester at ISU. All are welcome to attend one or both events. Bring a dish or dessert to share if you're coming to the potluck. For trailer and more information, go to www.pocatellofilmsociety.com/christmas.
