IDAHO FALLS — Habitat for Humanity Idaho Falls Area will host its annual Hoedown for Humanity fundraising event on Friday at the Grand Teton Event Center, 3910 S. Yellowstone Highway in Idaho Falls. Cocktails begin at 6 p.m., and dinner begins at 7 p.m.
This year’s 25th anniversary celebration event will feature music by the 40 Something Band, catering by Diabla’s Kitchen, line dancing by Leslie Cable, lasso demonstration by Rhonda Skinner, silent and live auctions and an update on Habitat for Humanity’s housing program in Eastern Idaho.
“Habitat’s Hoedown for Humanity is a fun way to learn about what Habitat for Humanity is doing locally to address the need for affordable housing,” said Karen Lansing, Habitat for Humanity Idaho Falls Area’s executive director. “Habitat families will personally tell you how owning a Habitat home has impacted their lives in unanticipated ways. Attendees will learn how they can be part of this life changing program. Save the date and join us for a boot scooting good time.”
Tickets are $60. For more information, call 208-528-0298.
