LAVA HOT SPRINGS — The Dragonfly Gallery, 178 W. Main St. in Lava Hot Springs, will host a reception with artist Pennie Wolf from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday.

Participants can meet the artist, view the collection of art, visit with other art lovers and enjoy some light refreshments. The reception will be free and open to the public.

The art exhibition runs through the end of October and may be viewed when the gallery is open: Fridays or Saturdays from noon to 8 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 4 p.m. The exhibit includes Western themed oil paintings and prints of landscapes, wildlife, stock, and portraits as well as mixed media skulls.

Wolf has a small gallery at 34 N. Main St. in Malad, where she displays her work and teaches others. She also teaches oil painting at the Pocatello Art Center on Thursdays. She specializes in painting animals, people and landscapes.
