BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Police say an autopsy has been completed on the body of a 45-year-old Twin Falls man found decomposing in the attic of a south-central Idaho rental home.
Twin Falls police say Dennis Crossman was reported missing Oct. 15 and believed to have been mentally delayed.
A man living at the home found Crossman's body early Sunday.
The renter told police he was used to bad smells at the house because in the past, animals have gotten stuck in the attic and died, but this time the odor was overpowering.
Authorities say they have not yet determined how long the body was in the attic and there is no evidence of a crime in connection with the death.
