POCATELLO—A three-car accident occurred at Benton Street and South Fourth Avenue around 2:45 p.m. Wednesday, partially blocking traffic at the intersection for about 30 minutes.

No one was transported to the hospital as a result of the crash, but at least one of the drivers suffered scrapes and abrasions. One of the vehicles involved, a convertible, had two young children in the backseat but they escaped injury.

Witnesses at the scene said the accident occurred when one of the drivers went through a red light.

Pocatello police are investigating.
